I think this is a great tool for sharing word documents and spread sheet that don't have Microsoft Office. I created a word document and spread sheet and found it easy to use.

Library uses Wiki for communication but other than a business setting I don't see much use.
Library system makes good use of Wiki to communicate to staff and get feedback.

Web 2.0 The future of libraries.
I hope libraries don't stray too much from their origins. Keeping up with technology is great but we don't want to become internet cafes with books. I realize we must keep up with new technology to attract new customers. I believe CCPL always keeps up with new trends.

I explored the technorati website and I understand how tagging works but I doubt that I will ever use this technology.

I looked at the RSS feeds and set up my bloglines account. I found it interesting but I'm not sure I would use it in the future.

I opened an account with Del.icio.us and downloaded it to my toolbar. I think it's great and use it all the time.

I opened an account with Rollyo and found that searching was easier for me using Google and saving with Del.icio.us. I don't see myself using Rollyo.
